Dog sledding from Tromsø: how the day unfolds
Our Classic dog sledding tour is the heart of what we do. The day starts with a coach transfer from Prostneset in Tromsø to Camp Aspemo, where you gear up in a thermal suit and winter boots, meet our 90+ Alaskan huskies, and get full sledding instruction from our mushers. Then you drive your own dog team, two guests per sled swapping halfway, for about 60 minutes on a beginner-friendly 3 to 4 km trail through Arctic wilderness. Afterwards you warm up with hot drinks and traditional cake before the bus takes you back to the city. The whole adventure takes 4.5 hours including the transfer, and NOK 2,990 per person covers the transfer, thermal clothing, instruction and refreshments.
